The unique view of various lovely lodges has been a landmark in Chitou Forest Recreation Area. All of the loges in the Area are made of Cunninghamia Lanceolata and Cypress. You may totally indulge in the cozy atmosphere of the lodges, just like enjoying the forest bath in the hill. While staying in Chitou Youth Activity Center, you may appreciate amounts of beautiful scenes in these ways, such as touching fully-blossomed rhododendron and cherry blossom, viewing flying butterflies, looking far into hills against the balcony in the lodge, listening to the bird-singing in the morning, watching the firefly-dancing in the evening, sleeping with the harmonious sound of frogs. You will feel as if being in the heaven with the enchanting natural views, the complimentary mineral water, the limitless Phytoncide. Urban people will have a whole new experience to get close to these natural feelings, including walking on the pathways to your content and physical limit.
At present, Chitou Youth Activity Center has ten lodges offering several room choices, including double rooms, suites, many rooms for a group of three, four, eight, ten or fifteen to provide you a comfort stay. Enjoyable and modern facilities are well equipped in the guestrooms. Please refer to the detail of the amenities in each type guestroom as following.

All of the 4 HuanCui Double Rooms are in the individual building of suites and there are one living room, one balcony and 4 Double Rooms in the building. There are 1 queen/king bed respectively in 2 HuanCeui Double Rooms and 2 twin beds respectively in the other 2 HuanCeui Double Rooms.

Guidelines of Reservation Inquiry |
1. Reservation
- Complimentary breakfast is available for each guest in Chitou Youth Activity Center except China Youth Corps., branches of China Youth Corps. in counties/cities and China Youth Service Association.
- You will have 25% off in non-holiday bookings in low seasons during March to June and September to December. (Complimentary breakfast is available.)
- We have special offers of non-holiday packages in low seasons for travel agencies and other special offers for organizations, institutions, groups, etc. above 40 members. Please contact us soon.
- Guests whose birthday the same as non-holiday check-in date, the handicapped, the elderly above 65 years old enjoy 40% off of bookings in Chitou Youth Activity Center. (Complimentary breakfast is available.) Only one guest enjoys the discount in one guestroom for only one night. And please show the certificates or ID cards when checking-in.
- Guests with Taiwan TouchYourHeart cards enjoy 15% discount of bookings in
Chitou Youth Activity Center. Students, co-ordinate organizations, teachers with certificates enjoy 15% off of bookings in non-holidays in low seasons, on Sunday to Friday in winter vacation and summer vacation; 10% off of bookings on Saturday in low seasons, on Saturday and consecutive holidays in winter vacation and summer vacation. Volunteers for China Youth Corps. enjoy 20% off of bookings on non-holidays and 15% off of bookings on holidays. Complimentary breakfast is available in these offers and Only one guest enjoys the discount with one certificate in one guestroom.
2. Refund and Deferral
- Deposit of reservations will be refunded or a deferral option of 3-month is available if Central Weather Bureau announces the land typhoon alert. However, total deposit is forfeited after the 3-month period expires.
- Each extra guest will be charged NTD 400 in each guestroom and complimentary breakfast is available.

4. Note
-
There will be traffic control during 9am to 4pm in Chitou Forest Recreation Area. Guests who arrive at Chitou Forest Recreation Area during 9am to 4pm may enjoy touring the Area first, and then back to Chitou Youth Activity Center after 4pm. During 9am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, guests may head for/ leave Chitou Youth Activity Center through the alternative road at guests¡¦ convenience.
- The tickets and the fare of Chitou Forest Recreation Area are not included in the room price in Chitou Youth Activity Center. In non-holidays, groups of travelers may apply for head for/ leave both Chitou Forest Recreation Area and Chitou Youth Activity Center through the alternative road. BUT the tickets to Chitou Forest Recreation Area still need to be charged.
